Okay, so the other day, I was trying to watch the game on FuboTV, and it was buffering like crazy. It was driving me nuts! So, I decided to figure out what was going on. I mean, I pay good money for this service, it shouldn’t be acting up like this, right?
My Troubleshooting Adventure
First things first, I checked my internet speed. You know, the basic stuff. I did a speed test and everything seemed fine. Plenty of bandwidth for streaming, so that wasn’t the problem.
Next, I restarted my router. Sometimes, that’s all it takes. You know, give it a little kick in the pants. Unplugged it, waited a minute, plugged it back in. Still buffering.
Then I thought, maybe it’s my device? So, I tried watching on my phone instead of my smart TV. Nope, still buffering. Okay, so it’s not the TV.
- Check Internet.
- Restart Router.
- Try Diff Device.
I even cleared the cache on the FuboTV app. I figured, maybe there’s some junk files messing things up. Still no luck.
At this point, I was getting pretty frustrated. I googled “why does FuboTV buffer so much” and found a bunch of other people with the same problem. Misery loves company, I guess.
Some folks suggested lowering the streaming quality. I tried that, and it did help a little, but the picture looked terrible. I mean, I want to watch the game in HD, not some blurry mess!
Finally Find the solution
Finally, I contacted FuboTV support. I went to use online chat to talk them, and they gave me the runaround, but after trouble shooting for a period of time with them, and they suggested checking my home network for interference. Turns out, my microwave was too close to my router! Who knew? I moved the router, and boom! No more buffering!
So, yeah, that was my FuboTV buffering saga. It turned out to be something totally random, but at least I figured it out. Now I can watch my games in peace. Hopefully, this helps someone else out there who’s pulling their hair out over FuboTV buffering!
