Okay, so I wanted to mess around with “depart nyt mini” and see what it was all about. I’d heard some buzz, figured I’d give it a shot. It’s supposed to be some sort of, like, departure board thing, right? For New York City?
Getting Started
First thing I did was just, you know, find it. It’s some kind of website. Type in “depart nyt mini” and search. Found something that looked right and clicked on it.
Messing Around
- Figuring it Out: So, the page loads, and it’s pretty bare bones. It presents a field, so, typed in a station that I knew.
- Seeing the Results: Boom! Up pops a list of trains. Departure times, destinations, the whole nine yards. It’s pretty slick, actually. I was kind of surprised how fast it was.
- Playing Around More: I tried a few other stations, just to see what would happen. Seemed to work for all of them. No problems there.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it’s pretty neat. Simple, clean, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Not much else to say about it, that is what I wanted. It worked well.
I can see myself using this if I need to, checking train times. That is all.
