Okay, so I wanted to get a new case for my Pixel 9 Pro, and I thought I’d go for something a little different this time. I decided on a terracotta-colored case. Sounds kinda fancy, right? But it’s just a nice, earthy color.
First, I went online to check out what’s out there. I started with Amazon. You know, the usual place. They’ve got tons of stuff.
- I saw some nice deals and cases from brands I’ve heard of, like Otterbox and Spigen.
- They all looked pretty good, but nothing really screamed “terracotta” to me.
Then, I stumbled upon this site called Temu. Never heard of it before, but hey, they had some cheap stuff.
- I found a few that looked kinda like what I wanted, and the prices were super low.
- But I was a bit worried about the quality, you know? Sometimes cheap means… well, cheap.
After that, I checked out Officeworks. They’re an Australian store, I think. They have a bunch of tech stuff and phone accessories.
- They had some cases for Android phones, but again, no terracotta.
- But they do free delivery for orders over $65, which is pretty sweet.
So, I went back to Amazon. I figured I might have missed something the first time around. I searched again, looked through more options, read a few reviews.
- I found a case that looked like a good fit. It was more of a reddish-brown, but close enough to terracotta.
- The reviews were decent, so I decided to give it a shot.
I ordered the case, and it arrived a few days later. It fit my Pixel 9 Pro perfectly. The color was pretty much what I expected, maybe a tad darker, but I liked it. It feels good in my hand, not too slippery. And it seems like it’ll protect my phone pretty well if I accidentally drop it. I mean, I’m pretty clumsy.
All in all, I’m happy with my new terracotta case. It wasn’t exactly a smooth ride finding it, but it worked out in the end. It’s nothing super special, just a nice, solid case that does the job. And it’s a color I like, which is a bonus.
