Okay, so today I decided to dive into “Escape or Die 2”. I’d heard some buzz about it, figured I’d give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. It’s, like, a puzzle-escape room type of deal.
Getting Started
First, I downloaded the game. Pretty straightforward, nothing fancy there. Installation was a breeze, just a few clicks and it was ready to go. Fired it up, and the menu screen popped up. Looked pretty simple, not too many options, which I kinda liked. Keeps things focused, you know?
Figuring it Out
So, I jumped into the first room. The graphics, alright, nothing to write home about, but they get the job done. The controls were intuitive enough, using the mouse to look around and click on stuff. Walked around the room, checking everything out. I clicked on drawers, posters, the floor… everything. The whole point is to find clues and objects to help you escape, right?
At the first few minutes, I was stucked by the clock. It seems I only have 20 * I need to hurry!
The Hard Stuff
Some of the puzzles were pretty tricky, I won’t lie. I spent a good chunk of time just scratching my head, trying to figure out what to do with the stuff I’d found. There was this one puzzle with colored blocks that I swore was impossible. But then, after what felt like forever, I finally spotted something I’d missed before – a tiny, almost invisible marking on one of the blocks. And boom, that was the key! That feeling when you finally crack a puzzle? So satisfying.
There was also a very interesting part about the lighting, I tried to turn on and off many times, and finally found the hints when all the lights were off!
Almost Gave Up
Honestly, there were a couple of times I almost gave up. I was clicking everywhere, getting nowhere. But I kept pushing, telling myself “just one more click, one more try”. Eventually, after a lot of trial and error, and a few lucky guesses, I managed to piece everything together.
Escaped
Finally, after all, I found the last clue. I used it. And I escaped! I have to say, it’s definitely a cool way to spend my time.
