Okay, so I wanted to keep a closer eye on my little one, and everyone kept talking about the eufy baby monitor. I decided to give it a shot and see what the hype was about, especially the app.
Getting Started
First, I unboxed the monitor and, you know, made sure all the parts were there. It came with the camera, the monitor itself, and some charging cables. Pretty standard stuff.
Then, I downloaded the “eufy Baby” app on my phone. I just searched for it in the app store, it was easy to find. I installed it and created an account. They asked for the usual stuff, email, password, that sort of thing.
Pairing Things Up
This part was a little tricky at first. I had to make sure both the camera and the monitor were charged up. Then I turned them both on. The app has a section to add a new device, so I clicked on that.
It guided me through the pairing process. Basically, I had to hold a button on the camera until it started blinking, then the app kind of searched for it and found it. There was a QR code involved, I remember holding my phone up to the camera, and it scanned it. It took a couple of tries, I won’t lie, but finally, they connected.
Using the App
Once everything was connected, I could see the camera feed right on my phone! It’s pretty cool. I could move the camera around remotely using the app, zoom in and out, all that jazz. I could even talk to the baby through the camera, which felt a little weird at first, but it’s actually pretty handy.
- Night Vision:The night vision is surprisingly good. I can see my baby clearly even when the room is totally dark.
- Sound Alerts:I set it up so the app notifies me if there’s a lot of noise in the baby’s room. It’s pretty sensitive, which is good, although sometimes the cat sets it off.
- Temperature: It even shows the temperature in the room, which is a nice bonus. I like knowing that it’s not too hot or too cold in there.
My overall thoughts.
It is a good app and I have got much help from it’s function. It helped me a lot.
