Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Veo Careers” thing and decided to give it a shot. Here’s how it all went down.
First Steps – What is Veo?
First, I had to figure out what Veo even was. I did some digging around, you know, the usual Google search. Turns out, it’s a company that does something with sports recording and analysis, with cameras and AI, sounded fancy.
Job Hunting Time
Next, I went straight to their careers page. I was kind of just browsing, seeing what was out there. They had a bunch of listings, everything from software engineers to marketing folks.
- Checked out engineering roles, but felt a bit out of my depth.
- Looked at some project management stuff, seemed interesting.
- Saw a customer support position, thought “maybe?”
The Application Process
I decided to apply for a Customer Success position. It wasn’t my dream job but look suitable for me. Filled out the application form, you know the drill: name, experience, all that jazz. I spent some time writing a pretty good cover letter, emphasizing my people skills and my enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
Waiting Game…
Then came the waiting. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking, that period after you hit “submit.” I kept checking my email, hoping for a response. Refresh, refresh, refresh… nothing.
Got any reply
I havn’t recived any reply from them, I think maybe my skills were not quite right. I will try other positions later.
My Overall Takeaway
Even though it didn’t work out this time, it was a good learning experience. I got to practice my application skills, and I learned a bit about a new company. It’s all part of the process, right? You win some, you lose some. I’ll keep searching, and maybe Veo will have something that’s a better fit for me down the road.
