Okay, here’s my experience with the Fiio FA19, written in a personal, blog-style format:
So, I finally got my hands on the Fiio FA19. I’d been seeing some buzz about these IEMs online, and, well, I’m a sucker for trying out new audio gear. I grabbed a pair and I started my listening experience.
Unboxing and First Impressions
The box itself? Pretty standard, nothing too flashy. I opened the box. Inside, you’ve got the IEMs, a nice selection of ear tips (this is crucial, folks!), and the cable. Speaking of the cable, it’s one of those silver-plated copper deals. It feels nice and doesn’t tangle too easily. Always a plus.
I popped the FA19s in my * shape is comfortable and fit my ears.
Sound Check – My Playlist Test
Time for the real test – how do they sound? I fired up my usual playlist. You know, the one with a bit of everything: some rock, some electronic, a little classical, and a guilty pleasure pop song or two. I’ve got to see how these things handle different genres, right?
- Bass: Okay, these things have some serious bass. I’m used my favorite bass boosted song. It’s not muddy or overpowering, but it’s definitely there. You feel it, which I like.
- Mids: Vocals sounded clear, instruments had good separation. I didn’t feel like anything was getting lost in the mix. I tested a vocal music.
- Highs: This is where things get interesting. The treble is crisp. It’s *’s not like harsh or anything.
Long-Term Listening & Final Thoughts
I used the FA19s for a few weeks. For my daily life. My commute, working at my desk, even a bit of gaming (they’re surprisingly good for that!).
I did notice that after a few hours, I did need to take a little break. But, that’s pretty common with IEMs, at least for me.
So, the big question: Are they worth it? Honestly, I think they are good, especially if you enjoy a detailed, clear sound, and you’re not afraid of a little extra bass. They’re not perfect, but they’re a solid choice, and I’m definitely keeping them in my rotation.
