Okay, so, I recently got myself a new case for my 13-inch MacBook Pro, the 2017 model. I figured I should share my experience, from start to finish, because why not?
First off, I started looking around for a case. I needed something that would actually fit my older MacBook. You know, not all cases are made for every model.
I did some searching and I came across a bunch of different ones. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. But I kept at it. I wanted something that felt solid, but not too bulky. And obviously, it had to look good.
I finally decided on one that seemed to have good reviews. It wasn’t too expensive, but also not suspiciously cheap. Seemed like a safe bet.
When it arrived, I was pretty eager to put it on my MacBook. I opened up the package, and there it was. The case looked pretty slick, a nice, smooth finish. It was called the “EooCoo” or something like that, had the word “Hlle” on it, and said it was compatible with “Touch Bar M2 M1 A2338 A2251 A2289 A2159 A1989 A1706, 2022-2017”. I don’t know what most of that means, but it said “2017”, so I figured it was the one for me.
Putting It On
- First step: I made sure my MacBook was clean. I don’t want any dust or crumbs getting trapped between the case and the laptop.
- Next: I checked out the case. It came in two pieces, one for the top and one for the bottom.
- Then: I started with the bottom piece. I just lined it up and snapped it on. It was surprisingly easy.
- After that: I did the same with the top piece. Again, it just snapped right into place. It was really simple.
And that was it! The case fit perfectly. No gaps, no wiggling, just a nice, snug fit. It felt good in my hands, not slippery at all. I’m not worried about dropping my MacBook anymore… well, maybe a little less worried.
The whole process was way easier than I thought it would be. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. My MacBook looks good, and it feels protected. If you’ve got a 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro, and you’re looking for a case, you could do a lot worse than the one I picked up. It’s solid, looks good, and it was easy to install. What more could you want?
