So, today I want to talk about something I got into recently, which is this thing called “freearcade”. I stumbled upon it while I was browsing around, looking for some old-school games to kill some time.
First, I just searched some keywords like “free games” or something, and there it was. A goldmine of games. I saw a bunch of names, like Dominoes and some Stickman game. These seemed pretty cool, so I decided to check them out.
I started with Dominoes. The game had a “Draw” and “Block” mode, and you could play with people all over the place. It was kind of fun matching those tiles, and it gave me some nostalgia vibes. Then, I moved on to this Stickman Army game.
- It’s a turn-based game where you grow your army.
- You gotta fight and stuff.
To be honest, it wasn’t really my cup of tea, but I can see why some people might like it.
After that, I just went through the list and tried out a few more. There’s this one game, My Horse & Me, which is about horse jumping. Yeah, you heard that right. It’s got a training mode and a championship thing. I played it for a bit, but horses aren’t really my thing, so I didn’t stick around too long.
Then there’s Solitaire. I mean, who hasn’t played Solitaire at least once in their life? It’s just that classic card game that everyone knows, and it’s called just “Solitaire”. I played a few rounds to see if I still got it. And guess what? I do.
What I Really Dug
But the real gem I found was this old game called Doom. Man, this game takes me back. It’s a first-person shooter, where you play as some space marine killing demons. It was such a big hit back in the ’90s, and playing it now, I can totally see why.
I spent a good chunk of my time blasting away at those demons. It was so much fun. I really got into the whole “kill hordes of demons” thing, haha. Seriously though, this game is awesome, and it made me realize how much I miss these old-school arcade games.
Overall, this whole “freearcade” thing turned out to be a pretty cool find. I got to play some classics, try out some new stuff, and even discover some hidden gems. If you’re into games, especially the older ones, you should definitely check it out sometime. It’s a great way to kill some time and have a little fun.
