Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Mous Clear Case. I’d been seeing ads for this thing everywhere, and, well, I’m a sucker for a good phone case. I’m also super clumsy, so the promise of “military-grade” protection was definitely appealing.
First thing I did was unbox it. Gotta love that new case smell! It came in a pretty simple box, nothing too fancy. The case itself felt… sturdy. Like, surprisingly solid for something that’s mostly clear.
Next up, the installation. I’m usually terrible at putting on cases – I always end up with bubbles or dust trapped underneath. But this one, it was pretty straightforward. I just popped my phone in, and it fit like a glove. No wrestling required! It felt snug and secure.
- Wiped down my phone (gotta get rid of those fingerprints!)
- Lined up the case with the phone’s buttons and ports.
- Snapped it on. Seriously, that’s it.
I’ve been using the case for a couple of weeks now. I wanted to really get a feel of it before sharing. I’ve gotta say, I’m impressed. The clarity is great – you can barely tell there’s a case on the phone. My phone color, the one I paid extra, finally can be seen!
And, most importantly, the drop protection. Now, I haven’t intentionally thrown my phone out a window or anything, but I have had a few… incidents. You know, the usual fumbles and drops onto the kitchen floor. So far, so good! No cracks, no scratches, nothing. The case seems to be doing its job. It gives me a very safe feeling!
One little thing I noticed is that the sides of the case are slightly raised. At first, I thought it was a bit odd, but then I realized it’s actually pretty smart. It keeps the screen from touching surfaces when you put your phone face down. Smart move, Mous!
My Honest Feeling
Overall,I’m loving this Mous Clear Case. I feel like my expensive smartphone is protected. It’s sleek, it’s protective, and it doesn’t add a ton of bulk to my phone. It’s a win-win-win. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but with this, I think it’s worth it for the peace of mind.
