Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called the “Best of Both Worlds Leather Palm Folio,” and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride. I’m a bit of a traditionalist at heart, but I also love my tech, so this seemed right up my alley.
I got my hands on this folio, and the first thing I noticed was the leather. Some folks online were saying it’s stiff, and yeah, it kinda is. But I think it will be better after using it for a while.
The main thing I wanted this for was to hold my phone and some notes. It turns out it can fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max in this stretchy mesh pocket on the inside. Sweet! Now I can carry my phone around in this thing and not worry too much about dropping it, ’cause it’s got this plastic frame that seems like it’ll protect it. And I tested the device to make sure that it worked well.

First off, I tried putting my phone in the pocket. No problem. It slid right in.

Then I grabbed a few sheets of paper and stuck them on the other side. There’s enough room for a small notepad, which is exactly what I needed.

I even simulated a few drops (don’t worry, nothing serious) to see how well the frame held up. Seems pretty sturdy.
My thoughts after using it for a bit
It’s a nice mix of old-school and new-school. I like that I can carry my phone and jot down notes all in one place. I carried it to my office, I took it to my friend’s home. The leather feels nice, and I think it’ll get even better with age. And I feel like my phone’s pretty safe in there.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with this folio. It’s not perfect, but it does what it’s supposed to do. And it’s a whole lot better than juggling my phone and a notebook separately. If you’re like me, someone who likes the feel of a real notebook but can’t live without your phone, you might want to check this thing out.
