Okay, so the other day I was trying to chill and watch something on Paramount Plus, but the Voice Over feature was driving me nuts. It kept narrating everything, and I just wanted to watch my show in peace. I figured there had to be a way to turn this thing off, so I started poking around.
Figuring It Out
First, I grabbed my remote and started messing with the settings on my TV itself. I went through all the accessibility options, thinking it might be a TV setting rather than a Paramount Plus thing. No luck there. Everything seemed normal.
Then, I realized it had to be within the Paramount Plus app itself. I mean, it made sense, right? So, I started navigating through the app’s menus. It took a bit of digging, I’m not gonna lie.
The Solution!
Here’s what I finally figured out, and I hope this saves you some time:
- I went to the settings within the paramount plus app, which is that little gear symbol, you can not miss that.
- I used to try to swipe down from the top of the screen, or look for some hidden menu while the show was playing. Don’t do that! Nothing happened.
- I went to the accessibility option.
- there is the “Voice Over” option, and I just needed to turn this switch off.
And…Bam! Silence. Sweet, sweet silence. The Voice Over was finally off, and I could go back to enjoying my show without the constant narration.
It was a bit of a hunt, but I got there in the end. Hopefully, this little guide helps you out if you’re ever stuck in the same situation. Now, go enjoy some uninterrupted streaming!
