Okay, so I wanted to see if I could actually share my Fubo account with some friends and family. I’d heard different things, and honestly, I was a little confused about how it all worked. So, I decided to just dive in and figure it out myself.
My Experiment with Fubo Sharing
First, I logged into my own Fubo account. I have the, uh, I think it’s the Elite plan? Yeah, the Elite one. I remember it gives me a bunch of channels and stuff.
Then, I checked the account settings. I wanted to make sure I understood the rules before I started handing out my login info. It’s all pretty buried in there, but I eventually found the section about simultaneous streams.
From what I gathered, Fubo lets you stream on a bunch of devices at the same time, especially if they’re all at your house. It looked like ten devices could stream at home, all at once! That’s, like, way more than I’d ever need myself.
So, I texted my brother and two of my buddies. I gave them my username and password, and told them to try logging in and watching something.
My brother, he’s local, he got in no problem. He started streaming some soccer game. My first friend, he’s also in town, and he managed to watch some cooking show without any issues.
Now, my other buddy, he lives a few states away. I was really curious if it would work for him. Fubo’s rules mentioned something about a few streams being allowed “outside the home.” And guess what? He logged in and started watching a movie, just fine!
So I successfully use Family Share + Unlimited Screens function!
So, yeah, it totally worked! I was pretty surprised how easy it was. I guess Fubo is pretty cool with sharing, at least within reason. I mean, I’m not gonna give my login to everyone I know, but it’s good to know I can share with a few people without any problems.
