After that, I played around with the search settings. You know, making sure it was searching the content inside the PDFs and not just the file names. Most of these programs have a bunch of options you can tweak. I’m no expert, but I clicked around until it felt right.
And get this, some of these PDF readers have advanced search features. Like, you can search for phrases, use wildcards, and all that jazz. I didn’t even know that was a thing! I tried using some of those advanced options, and it helped narrow down my searches even more. It’s pretty cool once you get the hang of it.
