Okay, so I’ve been rocking this iPhone 13 for a while now, and one thing that’s always bugged me is people peeking at my screen. You know, on the bus, in line at the coffee shop – it’s just annoying! So, I finally decided to do something about it and get a privacy screen protector.
First, I did some digging. Honestly, there are a TON of options out there. I looked at a few different brands, read some reviews, kinda just got a feel for what was available. I wasn’t really looking for anything fancy, just something that would actually work and not cost a fortune.
After some looking around, I decided I just picked one up. The one that I bought it was pretty cheap.
Putting it on was the next hurdle. I’m usually terrible at this stuff. Bubbles, dust, you name it, I get it. I carefully cleaned my phone screen, I tried to be super precise and use the little alignment frame they usually come with. Line it up, you know, and slowly smooth it down.
- Wiped down my iPhone screen with the included cloth.
- Used the little dust-remover sticker thingy. Gotta get rid of every speck!
- Peeled off the backing of the screen protector.
- Aligned the protector using the included frame.
- Slowly pressed it down from top to bottom, trying to avoid bubbles.
It was a little fiddly at first, I am very happy with the results. And to be honest, and I still ended up with one tiny, annoying bubble near the edge. I tried to push it out, but it’s still there. Oh well, can’t win ’em all, right?
The Results?
But overall? It works! Seriously, when I look at my phone straight on, everything’s clear. But if you try to look from the side, it’s just a dark screen. Success! Finally, no more nosy neighbors on the bus!
It’s not perfect, like I said, there’s that one little bubble. And sometimes, in really bright sunlight, it can be a little harder to see the screen. But honestly, the privacy is worth it. I feel way more comfortable using my phone in public now. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference. I am a huge fan of my privacy!
