Okay, so, I just got the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. That camera bump is HUGE, right? I knew I needed to get it protected ASAP. I’m super clumsy and I know it would just be a matter of time before I scratched or cracked those lenses.
So, I did what any normal person would do – I hopped online. Started looking at all sorts of camera protectors. Man, there are a ton of options out there! Some of them are, like, individual little circles you stick on each lens. Others are one big piece that covers the whole camera area. And the prices? All over the place!
Looked around
- First, I checked out some of the big online stores.
- Then, I went to some phone-specific accessory sites.
After a while, I found some TORRAS Camera Lens Protector and Esanik iPhone 15 Camera Lens Protector that looked pretty decent. They use this fancy “aerospace-specific” glass. They seemed to offer good protection without messing up the picture quality. CNC engraved single-piece. Sounds good!
I ended up ordering a couple of different ones. Figured I’d try them out and see which one I liked better. They were supposed to arrive pretty quickly, so that was a plus. One even said it would arrive the same day, which is crazy fast!
When they showed up, I carefully cleaned the camera lenses on my phone. Gotta make sure there’s no dust or anything before you stick these things on. Then, I tried on the first protector. It was those individual circle things. Putting them on was kind of a pain, to be honest. You gotta be super precise so they’re centered, and it’s easy to get them crooked.
The other one was easier since it was just one big piece. Just line it up and stick it on. Much simpler. It felt really solid, too. I even tried scratching it a little (oops!), and it didn’t leave a mark. Nice!
After using both for a bit, I decided to stick with the one-piece protector. It just felt more secure and was way easier to install. Plus, I didn’t notice any difference in my photos. They still looked sharp and clear. Now, I feel a lot better about carrying my phone around. I’m not constantly worried about messing up those expensive lenses. It’s a little thing, but it gives me some peace of mind!
