Okay, so I’ve been seeing these iPhone camera lens covers all over the place, and I finally caved and got one. I’m a bit clumsy, and my phone has taken a few tumbles, so I figured it couldn’t hurt to add a little extra protection.
Finding the Right One
First, I searched around online for different kinds. There are tons of options! Some are just little stickers, others are like mini tempered glass protectors. I ended up going for the tempered glass kind, figuring it would offer better scratch resistance.
Putting it On
When it arrived, I was a little nervous about putting it on perfectly. I’m not exactly known for my steady hands. I cleaned my iPhone camera lens really well with the included wipe, making sure there wasn’t any dust or lint.
- First, I peeled off the backing of the lens protector.
- Then, carefully lined it up with the camera lenses. It took a couple of tries to get it just right!
- Once I was happy with the alignment, I pressed down firmly to make sure it adhered properly.
The Result
Honestly, it was easier than I thought! There were a couple of tiny air bubbles at first, but I managed to smooth most of them out by gently pushing them towards the edges with my finger.
Now, my camera lenses have this extra layer of protection. It’s super clear, so it doesn’t affect the picture quality at all. I feel a little more at ease knowing that if I accidentally drop my phone, the lenses have a better chance of surviving.
It also comes with some extra lens for replacement incase the current ones get damaged, which is very thoughtful.
For anyone who’s a bit clumsy like me, or just wants to keep their iPhone camera in tip-top shape, I’d say it’s worth looking into.
