Alright, so I wanted to try something new today. I got really hooked on this game called “Wordle” a while back, you know, the one where you gotta guess the five-letter word? Well, I stumbled upon something called “Anti-Wordle” and thought, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First off, I had to get my head around how this “Anti-Wordle” thing even works. It’s kinda the opposite of “Wordle”. Instead of trying to guess the word, you’re trying to avoid guessing it. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong! It took me a bit to wrap my brain around that concept.
Diving In
I started playing, and man, it’s a whole different ball game. In “Wordle”, I’d pick a good starting word with lots of vowels, like “adieu” or “crane”. But here, that strategy totally backfired. I realized I had to think in a completely different way. It’s all about choosing words that are less likely to hit the right letters.
- First Attempt: I started with a word that I thought was pretty obscure, but I still got a couple of letters right. It’s way harder than it seems!
- Second Attempt: Tried another word. But it still hit the right letters! I felt it’s more difficult than Wordle.
- Changing Tactics: I started to focus on using letters that I hadn’t used before, trying to keep them as far away from the target word as possible.
Getting the Hang of It
It took a few tries, but I slowly started to understand the strategy. You really have to think about all the possible words and try to steer clear of them. The letters that are greyed out? Those are your best friends! I started to purposely pick words with those letters to narrow down the options without getting closer to the answer.
The Challenge
This game is seriously challenging. It is definitely harder than “Wordle”. You have to be mindful of every letter you choose. One wrong move, and bam, you’ve accidentally guessed the word. It’s like a word game minefield! If you want to get puzzle games that need more brain power, you can try “Dordle”, “Quordle”, and so on. They are similar to “Wordle”, but they have more rows.
Final Thoughts
So, after spending a good chunk of my day on this, I can say “Anti-Wordle” is a real brain teaser. It’s frustrating, it’s challenging, but it’s also strangely addictive. I haven’t quite mastered it yet, but I’m definitely going to keep trying. It’s a great way to give your brain a workout, and it’s a fun twist on the classic “Wordle” formula. But if you are a “Wordle” lover and want something new, just try it!
If you are bored of regular “Wordle”, give “Anti-Wordle” a try. Just be prepared to have your mind boggled! And I still need to spend more time to practice. I’ll probably be back with an update once I’ve gotten a bit better at it. Wish me luck!
