Okay, so yesterday I tried to figure out this puzzle, it says “part of an apple or an apple computer”. I was stuck on it for a while, it’s from The New York Times Mini Crossword.
At first, I kept thinking about different parts of an actual apple, like the skin, stem, and stuff. But that didn’t seem to fit with the “Apple computer” part. I was going in circles and getting nowhere.
So, I decided to start from the computer angle. I thought about the parts of an Apple computer, like, you know, the screen, keyboard, or the operating system. But none of those words seemed to be the answer. It was really bugging me!
Brainstorming and Research
I even tried to think about the types of apples, like McIntosh, Fuji, or Gala, but those didn’t seem related to Apple computers either. I was totally stumped. I needed a new plan, so I decided to search for some help online.
I found some websites that give answers to crossword puzzles. I looked up the puzzle for May 7th, and there it was! The answer was right there, staring at me from the screen.
The “Aha!” Moment
After looking around, I finally found the answer. It was “CORE”. The answer is “CORE”! It makes sense, right? The core of an apple is the central part, and in computers, the core is like the central processing unit. I couldn’t believe I didn’t think of that! But I found “CORE” was the right answer!
- It’s a part of an apple.
- It’s a part of an Apple computer.
It was such a relief to finally solve it. Sometimes, the answer is simpler than you think. You just need to look at it from a different angle or get a little help.
