Okay, so I recently got a new MacBook Pro, and I’m one of those people who needs to protect their tech. I mean, these things aren’t cheap, right? So, the first thing I did was start looking for a clear case. I wanted something that would show off the sleek design of the MacBook, but also keep it safe from scratches and dings.
I started by, you know, just Googling around. I typed in stuff like “macbook pro clear case” and “best clear case for macbook pro”. I looked at a bunch of different options, read some reviews, and watched some videos.
Choosing the Right One
It was kind of overwhelming, to be honest. There are so many different cases out there! Some are super thin, some are more heavy-duty, some have extra features like keyboard covers… I had to figure out what I really needed.
- Thinness: I wanted something slim. I didn’t want to add a lot of bulk to my sleek new laptop.
- Protection: Obviously, it had to offer good protection. I’m not super clumsy, but accidents happen.
- Fit: It had to fit my specific MacBook Pro model perfectly. I made sure to double-check the model number before ordering anything.
- Looks: I looked the cases on carefully, avoided the cases that were too smooth.
Putting it On
After I finally decided the clear case, I ordered one online. When it arrived, I was excited to get it on my MacBook. I watched it, and I made sure my MacBook was clean and dust-free, I don’t want any specks trapped under the case!
Putting it on was a little tricky. It’s a hard shell case, so I had to snap it on carefully. I started with the bottom piece, making sure all the little clips clicked into place. Then I did the top piece, which was a bit more challenging. I had to align it perfectly and apply just the right amount of pressure to get it to snap on without feeling like I was going to break something. The process is not very smooth, beacuse I was too careful to damage my laptop.
The Result
Finally got it, and it looked great! It’s super clear, so you can still see the Apple logo and the color of the MacBook. It’s also really thin, so it doesn’t add much bulk. And most importantly, I felt like my MacBook was much better protected. The case had little rubber feet on the bottom, which was a nice bonus. It keeps the MacBook from sliding around on my desk.
I’ve been using the case for a while now, and I’m really happy with it. My MacBook still looks brand new, even though I’ve taken it with me pretty much everywhere. So, if you’re looking for a way to protect your MacBook Pro without hiding its beauty, I definitely recommend checking out a clear case.
