So, the other day I got my hands on this Motorola S10 headset. I was pretty pumped to try it out, figured it would be perfect for my workouts. First thing, I ripped open the box and there it was, looking all sleek and stuff.
I picked it up and noticed it felt pretty light, which is good ’cause nobody wants a heavy thing bouncing around on their head while they’re running, right?
- Inspected the package, found the headset, a charging cable, and a little instruction booklet.
- Read the instructions, which were kinda basic, but hey, it’s a headset, not a rocket ship.
I turned it on by holding down this button on the side – a little blue light blinked, so I knew it was alive. Then came the pairing part.
I grabbed my phone, went into the Bluetooth settings, and waited. Boom! “Motorola S10” popped up on the screen. Tapped it, and a few seconds later, it said “connected”. Easy peasy.
Now for the real test. I put the headset on. It fit pretty snugly around the back of my head, and the earbuds rested comfortably in my ears. I started playing some music, and man, the sound was decent. Not audiophile level or anything, but good enough to get me in the zone. Bass was there, highs were clear, you know, the usual stuff.
Trial Time
I decided to take it for a spin on my usual jogging route. Started with a light jog, and the headset stayed in place, no problem. Picked up the pace, still good. Did some sprints, and guess what? It didn’t budge. I was impressed. Sweat started dripping, but the headset seemed to handle it fine. It claims to be sweat-proof, and from what I could tell, it lived up to it.
After my workout, I checked the battery. Still had plenty of juice left. I’ve used it a few more times since then, and I’ve only had to charge it once. Battery life seems pretty solid.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the Motorola S10. It’s comfortable, stays put during workouts, sounds good, and the battery lasts a while. Plus, it looks kinda cool, which is always a bonus. If you’re looking for a wireless headset for working out or just general use, I’d say give this one a shot. It might just surprise you.
