Okay, so I saw this “grandma phone case” thing trending, and I was like, what the heck, I gotta try this! It looked kinda cool and retro, so I decided to make one myself.
Getting Started
First, I needed a clear phone case. I just grabbed a cheap one I had lying around. It’s important it’s clear so you can put stuff inside, you feel me?
Then came the fun part – gathering all the little bits and bobs. I’m talking old photos, you know, those tiny ones of my actual grandma, haha. And some dried flowers I pressed a while back. I even found some vintage-looking stickers in my drawer. Anything with that old-school vibe.
Putting It Together
- I started by playing around with the layout. Like, I arranged the photos and flowers on the back of my phone, inside the case, to see how it looked. Took a few tries to get it right, no lie.
- Once I was happy with it, I carefully placed everything inside the case. This was kinda tricky because I didn’t want the photos to, like, slide around.
- For the smaller stuff, like the tiny flowers and stickers, I used a tiny dab of glue, the kind that dries clear, to stick them down. Just a teensy bit, so it wouldn’t show through.
The Final Touch
After everything was in place and the glue was dry, I snapped the case onto my phone. And boom! Grandma phone case, complete! It turned out pretty darn cute, not gonna lie. Gives my phone a whole new personality.
Honestly, it was a super easy and fun little project. And it’s kinda cool having a one-of-a-kind phone case, ya know? Plus, it reminds me of my grandma, which is always a good thing. Might make another one with different stuff next time!
