Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this privacy screen thing for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey.
Getting Started
First off, I went online and ordered one of those anti-spy screen protectors. I figured it’d be good for when I’m on the train or whatever, so people can’t see what I’m doing. You know how it is, everyone’s always looking at your screen.
The Package Arrives
A few days later, the package showed up. I ripped it open, pretty excited to try it out. Inside, there was the screen protector, a little cloth, and some wet and dry wipes. Standard stuff, nothing fancy.
Putting it On
- I cleaned my phone screen with the wet wipe first. Gotta get rid of all that dust and fingerprints.
- Then I used the dry wipe to make sure it was all dry. Can’t have any moisture messing things up.
- Next, I peeled off the backing from the screen protector. This part was a bit tricky. It kept sticking to my fingers.
- Carefully, I lined it up with my phone screen. Took a few tries to get it straight. I mean, I really wanted to be perfect.
- Finally, I pressed it down, smoothing out the bubbles. There were a couple stubborn ones, but I managed to get most of them out.
First Impressions
Once it was on, I checked it out. From straight on, it looked pretty normal. But when I tilted the phone, the screen went dark. That’s the privacy feature working, I guessed. It’s kinda cool, like magic or something. But if you are not right in front of it you can’t see a thing.
Living With It
I’ve been using it for a few days now. Honestly, it’s pretty good. It does what it’s supposed to do. Nobody’s been able to sneak a peek at my screen. I do feel a bit more at ease.
Final Thoughts
So, yeah, that’s my experience with the iPhone 14 Pro Max privacy screen. It was a bit of a hassle to put on, but it’s worth it if you want to keep your stuff private. I’d say it’s a win. But it’s not perfect, sometimes I want to show some pics to my friend on my phone, and the privacy screen just make it hard to see. So sometimes, I have to look straight to my phone to see it clearly, and that’s not always easy, especially when I am walking.
