Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get a lanyard case for my iPhone for a while now. I’m always dropping my phone, and I figured this would be a good way to keep it secure and, you know, not shattered on the pavement. So, I finally decided to just go for it and make it happen.
Finding the Right Stuff
First things first, I needed to figure out what kind of case and lanyard I even wanted. I did a bit of looking around, checking out different styles. I wasn’t really sure what would work best, but I knew I wanted something simple and not too bulky.
The Actual Doing Part
I picked out a simple, clear case. Nothing fancy, just something to protect the phone. Then, I found this basic black lanyard – again, nothing too crazy. I wanted it to be functional, not a fashion statement, you know?
Then there’s a problem, the phone case hasn’t the hole for lanyard! So I just took a tiny drill bit, just big enough for the lanyard string to fit through. I marked a spot on the bottom corner of the case, making sure it was far enough from the edge so it wouldn’t break easily. Then, super carefully, I drilled the hole. It took a couple of tries to get it just right, I didn’t want to crack the case! I gently widen the hole so it could fit.
Putting It All Together
- I threaded the lanyard string through the hole I’d made. It was a little fiddly, but I got it eventually.
- I securely tied the *,tripple checked.
- I slipped my phone into the case,And, done!
Seriously, it was easier than I thought it would be. Now I can wear my phone around my neck, and I’m way less worried about dropping it. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world, but it works! And that’s what matters, right? Plus, I can always switch out the lanyard if I want something a little more stylish later on. For now, I’m just happy I don’t have to worry about my phone screen cracking every time it slips out of my hand.
