Okay, so I’ve been messing around with two pairs of headphones lately, the Anker Soundcore Space Q45 and the Sennheiser Accentum Plus. I wanted to see which one was better for me, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey.
First off, I unboxed both of them. The Q45s come in this nice, hard case, while the Accentum Plus’s case is a bit softer, but still pretty decent. Inside, you get the usual stuff – charging cables, audio cables, that kind of thing.
Then I started wearing them. Right away, I noticed the Q45s are super comfy. The ear cups are like, really soft and plush. The Accentum Plus isn’t bad, but they’re definitely a bit firmer, and I started to feel them on my head after a while.
Next up, I connected them to my phone. Both of them use Bluetooth, and it was pretty easy to pair them up. No problems there. Once I was connected, I fired up some music.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. The Q45s have this really strong bass. Like, it’s really pumping. The Accentum Plus has bass too, but it’s more balanced, you know? I tried out different kinds of music, and honestly, it depends on what you’re listening to. For hip-hop and EDM, the Q45s were kinda cool with that extra bass, but for other stuff, the Accentum Plus sounded a bit clearer.
Then I started playing around with the noise cancellation. Both of these have active noise cancellation, which is supposed to block out outside sounds. I took them on the bus, walked around the city, and even tried them out in a noisy cafe.
I gotta say, the Q45s were better at blocking out noise. They really did a good job of making everything quieter. The Accentum Plus did okay, but I could still hear some stuff, especially higher-pitched sounds.
I also tried making some calls with them. The Q45s were pretty good. People on the other end could hear me clearly, and I could hear them fine too. The Accentum Plus was similar, no major issues.
Battery life is another big thing. Anker claims the Q45s can last for like, 50 hours with noise cancellation on, and 65 hours with it off. Sennheiser says the Accentum Plus can go for about 50 hours. In my testing, both of them lasted a really long time. I didn’t have to charge them very often at all.
Here are some features in a list:
- Comfort: Q45s are softer and more comfortable for long periods.
- Sound: Q45s have stronger bass, Accentum Plus is more balanced.
- Noise Cancellation: Q45s are better at blocking out noise.
- Calls: Both are good for calls.
- Battery Life: Both have very long battery life.
So, which one did I end up liking more? Honestly, it’s tough. If you want the best noise cancellation and you like a lot of bass, the Q45s are a great choice. But if you prefer a more balanced sound and comfort is super important, the Accentum Plus might be better, even if the noise cancellation isn’t as strong. It really depends on what you’re looking for in a pair of headphones.
For me, after using both for a while, I think I’m leaning towards the Q45s. That noise cancellation is just so good, and I do enjoy that extra bass sometimes. But hey, both of these are solid headphones, and you probably can’t go wrong with either one.
