Okay, so I’ve been rocking this OnePlus 8 for a while now, and honestly, the lack of wireless charging was a bummer. I mean, my old phone had it, and it’s just so convenient, you know? So, I decided to do something about it.
The Hunt for a Solution

Finding the Right Gear
Eventually, I found these thin wireless charging receiver things. Basically, it’s a super-slim pad with a little connector that plugs into your phone’s charging port. I found one specifically designed for USB-C, which is what the OnePlus 8 uses. I also picked up a decent wireless charging pad.

Living with Wireless Charging
It’s not super-fast charging, obviously. It’s slower than plugging it in directly. But for overnight charging, or just topping up during the day, it’s awesome. No more messing with cables! I just plop it down on the pad, and it’s good to go.
