So, I’ve been hooked on this game called Pokemon Wordle lately. It’s like, you know that game Wordle, but with Pokemon. Every day, there’s this new Pokemon you gotta guess.
The first thing I did was just jump right in. No strategy, just pure guessing. My first guess was “Pikachu” because, well, it’s Pikachu. The game told me that wasn’t it, but it did give me some clues. It uses this system where it tells you if you’re on the right track with the Pokemon’s type, generation, and stuff like that.
I spent a good chunk of my morning just throwing out names. “Charmander,” “Squirtle,” “Bulbasaur” – you name it, I guessed it. I was all over the place, from Gen 1 classics to some of the newer ones I barely know. The clues were kinda helpful, but man, there are so many Pokemon!
After a few more wild guesses, I started to get a better feel for it. I realized I should probably pay more attention to the clues. Like, if it says the Pokemon is a Water-type from Gen 3, that narrows it down a bit, right?
I started using this strategy where I’d pick a Pokemon that fit the clues I had, and then use the new clues to adjust my next guess. It was like, detective work, but with Pokemon, which is way cooler in my opinion.
There was this one day where I was totally stumped. I had used up, like, five of my six guesses, and I still had no idea. I was staring at the screen, feeling like I was never gonna get it. But then, it hit me! I remembered this one Pokemon that fit all the clues perfectly. I typed in “Palkia,” held my breath, and boom – that was it! I actually jumped up and cheered, which I’m not proud of, but hey, I was excited.
So, here’s what I’ve learned from playing Pokemon Wordle:
- Start with a common Pokemon: It’s a good way to get some initial clues.
- Pay attention to the clues: They’re there for a reason, use them!
- Don’t be afraid to use your Pokemon knowledge: The more you know about types and generations, the better.
- And most importantly, have fun: It’s a game, after all, no need to take it too seriously, unlike me when I was guessing the Palkia.
It’s a fun way to kill some time and test your Pokemon knowledge. Plus, it’s kinda cool to see how much you actually remember about all those different Pokemon. If you’re a Pokemon fan, you should definitely give it a shot.
