Alright, so I’ve been messing around with my new iPhone 15, and one of the first things I did was slap a screen protector on it. I went with one from Power Support ’cause I’ve heard good things about them.
First off, getting the thing on my phone was a bit of a hassle. You know how it goes – you gotta make sure there are no dust specs or air bubbles. It’s a whole process. But I took my time, cleaned the screen like three times, and finally got it on there pretty straight. Took me a good 20 minutes, not gonna lie.
Once it was on, I noticed the screen was still super responsive. No issues with the touch sensitivity, which is something I was worried about. I mean, what’s the point of having a fancy phone if the screen protector makes it laggy, right? So, that’s a big plus for Power Support.
The Look and Feel
It’s a tempered glass one, so it feels pretty much like the actual phone screen. Smooth and all that. And it doesn’t make the phone look bulky or anything. I’ve seen some protectors that are so thick, it’s like putting your phone in a case. This one’s nice and thin.
Is it Worth it?
Now, I haven’t dropped my phone yet, knock on wood, so I can’t say how well it protects from serious damage. But it definitely keeps the scratches away. I’m one of those people who just tosses their phone in their bag with keys and whatever else, so I need that extra layer of protection.
I did notice that the screen seems a bit dimmer with the protector on. I had to crank up the brightness a little. And it does seem like my battery’s draining a tad faster, but it’s hard to tell for sure. Could be just me using my phone more ’cause it’s new.
- Pros:
- Keeps the scratches off
- Touch sensitivity is still great
- Looks pretty sleek
- Cons:
- A pain to put on perfectly
- Might be making my screen a bit dimmer
- Could be affecting battery life, not sure
So, yeah, that’s my two cents on the Power Support screen protector for the iPhone 15. It’s doing its job so far, keeping my screen looking fresh. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run, but for now, I’m pretty happy with it.
