Okay, so I wanted to figure out this whole fuboTV account sharing thing. I’ve heard different things, so I decided to just dive in and try it myself. Here’s how it went down.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my own fuboTV account. I already had one that I use mostly for watching soccer, So, I was good to go there.
The Experiment Begins
I’ve got a buddy who’s also a big sports fan, He’s always complaining about missing games, so he was the perfect test subject. I texted him, “Hey, wanna try sharing my fuboTV login?” He was in, obviously.
I sent the username and password. I use a password manager, so it wasn’t too much work. I figured, what can be the harm?
Simultaneous Streaming – The Real Test
- First try: I started watching a game on my TV, and he logged in on his phone. Worked like a charm! We were both watching different live games at the same time.
- Second try: I kept my stream going, He then logged in from a smart TV at his house. Boom! It was also running smoothly.
- Third try: I add my laptop into the stream, to see how far I can go. Bingo! I’ve got three devices running different streams from my account.
The Verdict
So, based on my little experiment, sharing a fuboTV account is totally doable. I have heard that Fubo allow to connect up to ten devices at once on your home network, and two on the go, as long as you don’t go over the stream limit, you’re golden. I only tired three devices and I think that would be enough.
Keep in mind, though, sharing your password is like giving someone a key to your digital house. Only share it with people you really trust!
