So, I finally decided to get a keyboard cover for my 13-inch MacBook Pro. I’ve been putting it off, but the crumbs and, uh, other stuff accumulating under the keys were starting to freak me out.
Off to the Internet!
First, I jumped online to see what my options were. I mean, there are tons of these things, right? I wanted something that felt good, wouldn’t slip around, and, ideally, wouldn’t make my sleek MacBook look like a toddler’s toy.
Narrowing it Down
After browsing for a while, I focused on a few key things:
- Material: I wanted silicone, seemed like the best bet for feel and durability.
- Fit: Had to be specifically for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, obviously. No one-size-fits-all nonsense.
- Color: Clear,I thought, maybe a subtle color if I find one that I liked, but definitely nothing crazy.
The Ordering of the Keyboard
I ended up ordering one that checked all the boxes. Silicone, perfect fit, and clear. It was pretty cheap, too, which was a * shipping takes some time, you know, waiting is always suffer.
Putting the keyboard
When it arrived,I open * is easy to install!I just carefully cleaned my keyboard with a microfiber cloth to make sure there was no dust or anything trapped underneath, and then I laid the cover over the keys, lining it up carefully. It settled into place pretty easily, a nice, snug fit.
The Result
Honestly, I’m pretty happy with it! Typing feels a little different, a bit softer, but it’s not bad at all. And the peace of mind knowing my keyboard is protected is great. Plus, it’s super easy to take off and clean if it gets * Done!
