Okay, here is my story about the Raspberry Pi and Black Friday.
So, it was getting close to Black Friday, I think it was November 29th this year. I was really looking to get myself a Raspberry Pi. You know, those little computers are pretty cool for all sorts of projects. I had been eyeing the Raspberry Pi Model B+ for a while, and I was hoping to snag a good deal on it.
I started checking out different stores online, I found that there was going to be a sale on the Raspberry Pi Model B+, they are going to drop the price down to just $22.95, but there was a catch, you could only buy three at a time. They were also going to slash prices on some Raspberry Pi expansion boards by 30%. That sounded pretty good to me.
I also remember coming across some offers, like 60% off on some of the best-selling Raspberry Pi stuff. And I was seeing all these coupon codes and promotions for Raspberry Pi products. I even saw some deals on Walmart, like up to 55% off on different Raspberry Pi models and kits. They had deals on the Raspberry Pi 3, Raspberry Pi Sense, and others.
But then I stumbled upon this new model, the Raspberry Pi 5. I heard it was way faster than the older ones, like two or three times faster. They said it had some special in-house designed silicon for better performance. And it’s supposed to be good for power users and professional applications. It costs $120.
I was wondering why these newer models were more expensive. It seems like they packed in more features than the older versions. Plus, I heard there were some supply issues because of COVID and some manufacturing problems. I mean, some resellers and distributors were selling them at higher prices because people were willing to pay more. And if Raspberry Pi themselves raised the price, fewer people would buy them.
After doing all this research and waiting for Black Friday, I finally decided to go for the Raspberry Pi Model B+. I managed to get it for the discounted price of $22.95. I also picked up a couple of expansion boards that were on sale. I was pretty happy with the deals I got. Now I have the Raspberry Pi and some expansion boards to start with my projects.
- First, I spent a lot of time checking different websites and comparing prices.
- Then, I learned about the new Raspberry Pi 5 and why it was more expensive.
- Finally, I made my purchase on Black Friday and got a good deal on the Raspberry Pi Model B+ and some expansion boards.
It was a bit of a journey, but I’m glad I waited for Black Friday to get my Raspberry Pi. I think I saved some money, and now I can get started on all those projects I’ve been planning. It’s pretty exciting!
