Okay, here we go. Today, I tried to get that “sure sure nyt” thing, and I’m gonna tell you all about it. You know, they had this deal for the New York Times, something about getting all their stuff, like news, games, and cooking tips, all in one place. I saw it and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
So, first, I checked out what this “nyt” even is. They got newspapers, puzzles, and recipes. It’s a lot. They said it’s a good deal, ending soon, so I hurried up. I wanted to see if it’s worth the money. People online were saying good things, like how it’s cheaper than buying a cookbook, and you get way more. But some people said other things are better, like The Economist or something. Confusing, right?
Sign Up Process
Then I tried to sign up. That was a bit of a hassle. You gotta give them your email, make a password, all that stuff. They have different options, like just the news, or everything together. I went for the whole shebang because I wanted to try the cooking thing they talked about.
- Checked out the website: Saw the deal, looked at the options.
- Signed up: Gave my email, made a password.
- Chose a plan: Went for the full access thing.
Trying it Out
After signing up, I started looking around. The news part is okay, I guess. Lots of articles, but some are kinda boring. The games are fun, though. I played that word game everyone’s talking about, and it’s pretty addictive. But the cooking part, that’s what I really wanted to see. They got tons of recipes, and some look really good. I tried one, a simple pasta thing, and it turned out pretty tasty. My family liked it too, so that’s a win.
I also watched some videos they had, about how to tell your opinion and stuff. Not sure if that’s useful, but it’s there. There were also tips about buying a new phone or something, which is not really related but okay.
Is it Worth It?
So, is this “nyt” thing worth it? I’m not sure yet. It’s not bad, but it’s not amazing either. I like the games and the recipes, but the news is just okay. Maybe it’s better than those other things people mentioned, like the New Yorker or something. I’ll have to use it more to really know.
In the end, I guess it’s up to you. If you like puzzles and cooking, maybe you’ll like it. If you just want news, maybe not. It’s like those spicy books people talk about, you either like them or you don’t. I’ll keep using it for a while and see. Maybe I’ll find more cool stuff, or maybe I’ll get bored. We’ll see.
To sum up:
- News: Meh.
- Games: Fun!
- Cooking: Pretty good.
That’s my experience with “sure sure nyt” for now. Hope this helps someone out there.
