Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this Teddy Fresh and Magic: The Gathering collaboration for a while. I finally decided to take the plunge and see what the hype was all about.
First off, I gotta say, I was pretty stoked when I saw the announcement. I mean, Teddy Fresh is known for its comfy and stylish stuff, and Magic: The Gathering? That’s a classic! I’ve been a fan of the game for years. The idea of them teaming up got me pretty excited, not gonna lie.
So, I started by browsing their website. I saw that they were dropping the collection at Complex Con on November 18th and 19th. I thought, “Man, I wish I could be there!” But, alas, I couldn’t make it. No biggie, though. I figured I could still snag some pieces online.
The collection had a bunch of stuff, like hoodies and pants. I saw this one hoodie called “Blightning Hoodie” that caught my eye. It looked super cozy, and the design was pretty cool. I also noticed these straight-leg pants with side slit pockets and some embroidery on the back. They looked comfy as heck.

I ended up ordering the Blightning Hoodie. When it arrived, I immediately tried it on. And let me tell you, it was as comfy as it looked! The material was soft, and the fit was just right. I could totally see myself lounging around in this thing all day.
But here’s the thing, and maybe it’s just me, but I felt like something was missing. I mean, the hoodie was cool and all, but it didn’t quite scream “Magic: The Gathering” to me. Maybe I was expecting something more, I don’t know.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The hoodie is definitely comfy and well-made. But as a big Magic: The Gathering fan, I kinda wished the design was a bit more, you know, Magic-y. Still, it’s a cool piece, and I’ll definitely be wearing it. Maybe next time they’ll go even bigger on the MTG theme!
