So, I’ve been messing around with these new AI video generators, Tiger and Sora, they’re pretty hot right now. I started with Tiger, the version 2, ’cause why not start with the latest, right?

First thing I did was messing around with Tiger v2, just to see what this bad boy could do. You know, feeding it some text prompts, simple stuff like “a cat walking down a street” and then playing with some other prompts. I had to try a few different prompts to see what worked best. This took a while but it was fun to see what it could generate. Each video took a bit to process, but that’s cool, gave me time to think about what to try next.

The results from Tiger v2 were pretty impressive, I gotta say. The details were pretty good, and the videos were smooth. One thing I noticed is that it works best with straightforward instructions, nothing too crazy.

  • Tiger v2 Test 1: Typed in “a man dances.” The output was decent, a bit robotic, but hey, it’s AI.
  • Tiger v2 Test 2: Tried “people walking on the street.” This one was better, more natural movements, I liked it.
  • Tiger v2 Test 3: Went for “a car moving forward.” This one was great.

Then I move on to Sora v2. I was curious how it compared. I tried with the same prompts I used for Tiger. I was like, let’s see how this goes head-to-head.

Sora v2 Experiment

Sora v2, it’s a different beast. The process was similar, typing in prompts, waiting for the magic to happen. But the results, man, they were something else.

  • Sora v2 Test 1: “a man dances,” just like before. Whoa, the difference was night and day. The motion was fluid, lifelike, I was really blown away.
  • Sora v2 Test 2: “people walking on the street.” Sora nailed this one too. The crowd’s movement, the background, all very natural.
  • Sora v2 Test 3:“a car moving forward” Sora do a good job too.

Honestly, after trying both, I’m leaning towards Sora v2. It’s just more polished, more realistic. Tiger v2 is good, don’t get me wrong, but Sora v2, it’s like it’s on another level. It’s crazy how fast this tech is moving. Anyway, that’s my little experiment. If you’re into this AI video stuff, definitely give both a try, but in my book, Sora v2 takes the cake.
