Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my Fossil smartwatch lately, and I wanted to jazz it up a bit with a new watch face. I stumbled upon this thing called the “Wellness Gauge” watch face, and let me tell you, it’s pretty neat. It’s supposed to help you keep track of your, well, wellness, I guess. Anyway, I figured I’d give it a shot and document the whole process, ’cause why not?
Getting Started
First things first, I grabbed my phone and opened up the Google Play Store. I typed in “Fossil Smartwatches” in the search bar, because you need their app to manage these things. I already had the app installed, but if you don’t, just hit that install button and you are good to go.
Diving into the App
Once I opened the Fossil app, I made sure my watch was connected. You’ll see your watch at the top of the screen if it’s all paired up properly. Next, I tapped on that little watch icon thingy in the middle at the bottom – that’s where the watch face customization magic happens.
Finding the Wellness Gauge
Now, this is where it got a little tricky. There are tons of watch faces in there! I scrolled and scrolled, and finally found the “Wellness Gauge” one. It’s got this kind of minimalist look with a couple of circles that fill up based on your activity. I tapped on it to get a better look.
Customizing and Setting it Up
This watch face lets you customize a few things, like the color of the circles and what stats you want to display. I played around with the colors a bit, settled on something that looked decent, and then hit “Save.”
- Open the App: Launched the Fossil Smartwatches app on my phone.
- Select Watch Face: Navigated to the watch face section.
- Find Wellness Gauge: Scrolled through the options to find the Wellness Gauge watch face.
- Customize: Adjusted the colors and data displayed to my liking.
- Save and Sync: Saved the changes and waited for it to sync to my watch.
The Final Result
After a few seconds, my watch updated, and boom! There it was, the Wellness Gauge watch face in all its glory. It’s actually pretty cool seeing those circles fill up throughout the day. It is kind of motivating, I guess. Anyway, that’s how I got the Wellness Gauge watch face on my Fossil smartwatch. It wasn’t too hard, just a little bit of tapping and scrolling. Now, I’ve got a slightly more interesting watch on my wrist.
If you also want to change your watch face, just follow my steps and you will be fine.
