I got a new iPad Air a few weeks ago, and I knew right away I needed a good case for it. I’m kind of clumsy, and I know myself. I drop things. A lot. So, I started looking around for cases, and I ended up going with a Speck case.
I did some digging online, looked at a bunch of different cases on my phone. I finally settled on the Speck brand. Seemed like they had a good reputation and were not too expensive, so I bought one.
When the case arrived, I tore open the packaging. Getting it on the iPad was pretty straightforward. It just snapped on.
- First, I lined up the buttons and the camera cutout on the case with the iPad.
- Then, I just kind of pressed the iPad into the case, starting with one corner and working my way around.
- It clicked into place pretty easily.
It’s a pretty snug fit, which is good. I’ve been using it for a while now, and I’ve already dropped my iPad a couple of times. Once, it fell off my bed onto the floor – thud! My heart stopped for a second. But the case did its job. No damage at all. It feels good in my hands, not too bulky. And it’s got this grippy texture, so it’s less likely to slip out of my hands.
The buttons are easy to press, even with the case on. It has a cover that folds over the screen. You can fold the cover back and use it as a stand, too. That’s pretty handy for watching videos or using it on my desk. I can prop it up at different angles.
All in all, I’m really happy with this Speck case.
It was a good decision. It’s protected my iPad from my clumsiness, and it’s not a pain to use. It just works. If you’re looking for a solid case for your iPad Air, I’d definitely say check out the Speck cases. They seem to know what they’re doing. This is my experience, and hopefully, it helps someone out there who’s also looking for a good iPad Air case.
